JE Pistons BBC FT HD/BLOWN Set of 8 Pistons

What you get in this kit is a complete set of eight forged pistons designed for big block Chevrolet (BBC) engines, specifically built for heavy-duty or blown applications. They're made from 2618 aluminum, which gives them the strong tensile strength needed for engines that are pushed hard, whether on the track or in a high-performance street build.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means the piston skirts are narrower and the wrist pin is shorter, which helps cut down on friction and saves weight. Depending on the specific engine application, these pistons might also come with an accumulator groove. This groove helps manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and ensuring a consistent seal for reliable power. Some applications also include a skirt coating, which further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise. This set is designed for a 4.310-inch bore with a 1.520-inch compression distance and uses a 0.990-inch wrist pin. Keep in mind that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are also subject to California's Prop 65 warning.
