These pistons are made in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits. They're engineered specifically for this engine and the demanding use you have in mind, aiming for a solid balance of durability and performance.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table with their forged racing pistons. This particular set features a Flat Top design with a 4.255-inch bore and a -3.0cc dish, intended for specific engine builds. You'll find features like their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the exact application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and maintaining consistent power, and a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the cylinder walls while also quieting down operation.

This set includes eight pistons, all forged and machined 100% in the USA. It's important to note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
