JE Pistons has been making forged pistons for over 75 years, and they build these right here in the USA using 2618 aluminum. This material offers the high tensile strength you need when you're pushing an engine hard, whether that's on the drag strip or in a serious street build.

What sets these pistons apart is their specific design for your engine and application. They feature JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons might also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and keeping power consistent. Some applications also get a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.
