These pistons are engineered, forged, and machined 100% in the USA, using 2618 aluminum to give you the strong tensile strength needed for serious builds.

This set features a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also making the engine run quieter.

This kit is for an 8-cylinder engine and includes 8 pistons. The bore size is 4.310 inches, with a compression distance of 1.765 inches and a 0.990-inch pin diameter. The piston dish volume is -3.0 cc, meaning it's a flat-top piston designed to work with specific cylinder head volumes to achieve your desired compression ratio.
