JE Pistons BBC INV DOME Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons is known for making well-built forged racing pistons, with over 75 years of experience. They've applied that knowledge to this set of BBC (Big Block Chevrolet) inverted dome pistons, designed for high-demand performance applications. These pistons are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, using 2618 aluminum, which gives them the high tensile strength needed for serious builds.

This set features JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they have reduced skirt width, which helps minimize friction and power loss, and a shorter wrist pin, saving additional weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down operating noise.

This kit is for an 8-cylinder engine and includes 8 pistons. They are designed specifically for each engine and use application, aiming for an optimized balance of performance and durability. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
