JE Pistons is known for its forged racing pistons, with over 75 years of experience in the field. They've applied that knowledge to this set of BBC Nitrous Dome pistons, designed for high-demand performance applications. These pistons are forged and machined 100% in the USA, using 2618 aluminum to give you the high tensile strength you need for serious builds.

This set features JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they have a reduced skirt width, which helps minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.

This kit is designed specifically for the BBC engine and nitrous applications, aiming for an optimized balance of performance and durability. The kit includes eight pistons, each with a 4.580-inch bore, a 1.270-inch compression distance, and a 0.990-inch wrist pin.
