This kit from JE Pistons includes six forged pistons, JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, high-quality wrist pins, and locks. These pistons are specifically made for the BMW S50B30 Euro engine, featuring a 3.386-inch bore and an inverted dome/dish design to achieve a 9.00:1 compression ratio. They are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for high-demand performance applications where durability is critical.

JE Pistons has applied over 75 years of experience to these components. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and consistent power delivery. Additionally, a skirt coating can be included to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which also helps to lower operating noise.
