JE Pistons' Ultra Series pistons start with a unique Aligned Grain Flow forging process, a JE proprietary technology that maximizes tensile strength. This makes them exceptionally well-built for handling the extreme cylinder pressures found in high-boost, power-adder engine builds. These aren't just basic pistons; they come equipped with custom-level features typically found in much more expensive, bespoke setups.

You'll find a thermal barrier crown coating on these pistons, which is a ceramic-based material that reflects heat back into the combustion chamber. This helps reduce piston crown temperatures and can improve exhaust gas scavenging. The skirts are coated to reduce friction and wear against the cylinder walls, which also helps quiet down operation, especially when the engine is cold. To further support the demands of high-performance builds, these pistons include lateral gas ports designed to maintain a strong ring seal even at high RPMs and under significant boost. They also feature optimized pin oiling for consistent lubrication of the wrist pin and connecting rod small end, reducing heat and wear.

This set includes six pistons, each with an inverted dome/dish design, a 3.327-inch bore, and a 0.866-inch pin diameter.
