JE Pistons BMW S14B23 8.5:1 KIT Set of 4 Pistons

If you're rebuilding the engine in your BMW S14B23, this set of four forged pistons from JE Pistons is a solid choice. This material gives you the strong tensile strength you need for demanding performance applications.

This kit is designed specifically for the S14B23 engine, aiming for an 8.5:1 compression ratio with its inverted dome/dish design. You'll get a set of four pistons, each with a 3.709-inch bore, a 1.260-inch compression distance, and an 0.866-inch wrist pin. JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps reduce friction and weight by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal, and a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear while also quieting down operation.

This kit comes complete with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, so you have most of what you need to get your engine back together. Keep in mind that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
