These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines under high stress. They feature JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin for added weight savings. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing ring flutter. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the cylinder walls while helping to quiet down engine noise.

This kit includes everything you need to get your S50B32 engine rebuilt with these performance pistons: six pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings.
