These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives them the high tensile strength needed for demanding applications. They feature JE's Proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a shorter wrist pin and a narrower skirt. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and more consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.

This kit includes everything you need to get your engine rebuilt: six pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings.
