JE Pistons CHRY 426 HEMI Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons has been making forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and this set is designed specifically for the 426 Hemi to give you the durability and performance you need. This set uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. The pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, which offers high tensile strength needed for demanding performance applications. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.

This kit includes a set of 8 pistons, each with a 4.500 inch bore size. They are designed for a dome piston configuration. It's important to note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
