Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This set includes eight pistons designed specifically for Chrysler engines, featuring a 4.187-inch bore size. JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged racing pistons, ensuring a combination of durability and performance proven on tracks from dirt to drag strips.

The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design is a notable feature, minimizing friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width. This design also contributes to weight savings by allowing for a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, which can reduce ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Additionally, some applications feature a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.
