If you're rebuilding the top end of your Coyote 5.0 Modular engine for serious performance, a set of high-quality forged pistons is a critical component. These pistons from JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of high-horsepower applications, offering a significant upgrade over stock cast pistons. They are designed to provide the durability and reliability needed for everything from track days to serious street performance.

JE Pistons has been a leader in forged piston technology for over 75 years, and this set reflects that experience. Forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, these pistons offer the high tensile strength required for high-stress engine builds. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width, and a shorter wrist pin further saves weight. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which improves ring seal and keeps power consistent. Some applications also include a skirt coating to reduce friction and noise while minimizing wear on the skirts and cylinder walls.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 3.630-inch bore and a dome volume of 3.3 cubic centimeters, resulting in an 11:1 compression ratio. The included wrist pins are 0.866 inches in diameter, and the compression distance is 1.174 inches. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
