JE Pistons COYOTE 5.0 MODULAR 12.5:1 Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons has been a leader in forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and they bring that experience to their domestic engine components. This set of eight pistons is specifically made for the Coyote 5.0 Modular engine, featuring a 12.5:1 compression ratio for improved performance. They are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA using 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for high-demand performance applications.

These pistons incorporate JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width, and further saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.
