JE Pistons FIAT 176A 7.8:1 KIT Set of 4 Pistons

Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This kit includes four pistons specifically designed for the FIAT 176A engine, featuring a 3.169-inch bore and a 7.8:1 compression ratio with an inverted dome/dish design. JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table, with all forging and machining done right here in the USA.

The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design is a key feature, minimizing friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can prevent ring flutter and improve ring seal for more consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down operating noise.

This kit comes complete with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, ensuring you have the essential components for installation.
