These JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of a high-performance engine, offering improved durability and reliability over stock cast pistons. They are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it ideal for applications where significant stress and heat are present.

JE Pistons has applied over 75 years of experience to these pistons, engineering and machining them 100% in the USA. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps improve ring seal and prevent fluttering. A skirt coating, if included for your application, further reduces friction and wear on the cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.

This kit includes everything you need to get your engine rebuilt: five pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings. The 8.5:1 compression ratio is designed for boosted applications, providing a good balance for performance tuning.
