JE Pistons Ford Modular 3.661in Bore 1.168in CH 1.36 CC Piston Kit

This JE Pistons kit includes a set of eight forged pistons, designed for Ford Modular engines with a 3.661-inch bore. These pistons are crafted from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-demand performance applications where durability is critical.

JE Pistons has incorporated their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also contributes to weight savings, especially when paired with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can improve ring flutter and enhance ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Additionally, a skirt coating, if included for your application, can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, leading to quieter operation and extended component life.

Every component in this kit is forged and machined 100% in the USA, reflecting JE Pistons' extensive experience in creating high-performance engine parts. These pistons are specifically designed for the Ford Modular engine and its intended use, aiming for an optimized balance of performance and durability.
