This set is specifically for the 4.090 inch bore size and features a -4.8cc dish, which is important for setting your compression ratio. The 0.927 inch pin diameter is also a key specification for compatibility with your connecting rods.

These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for demanding performance applications. JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and consistent power delivery.
