These pistons are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, using 2618 aluminum, which gives them the high tensile strength needed for demanding performance applications. This set includes eight pistons, each featuring JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power.
