These JE Pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for high-demand performance applications. This set is designed for GM LS engines with a 4.005-inch bore, which is 0.005 inches larger than the standard bore size. The asymmetrical FSR forging design is a notable feature, incorporating a reduced skirt width to minimize friction and power loss, while a shorter wrist pin further saves weight. This specific design helps reduce skirt-to-cylinder wall contact, contributing to less wear and quieter operation.

Each piston features an inverted dome with a -7.2cc dish, which is engineered to optimize combustion chamber volume and compression ratios for specific engine builds. The pistons are manufactured 100% in the USA, reflecting JE Pistons' extensive experience in creating durable and high-performing components for racing applications.
