This set is specifically for LS1 applications and features a 3.898-inch bore with a -2cc dish, intended to work with a 6.125-inch connecting rod. These pistons are made from 2618 aluminum, a well-built material known for its high tensile strength, making it suitable for demanding performance builds.

JE Pistons has over 75 years of experience in creating forged racing pistons, and these are no exception. They are forged and machined entirely in the USA, ensuring a high standard of manufacturing. The design includes a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and maintaining consistent power.
