These pistons are forged from 4032 aluminum, a material known for its strength and its ability to handle high performance without expanding too much with heat. The SRP Pro pistons feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they have a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which helps minimize friction and power loss while also saving weight. An accumulator groove is included to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving the seal for consistent power output.
