JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design, combined with the use of 2618 aluminum, yields high tensile strength necessary for performance engines. Each piston is machined 100% in the USA, ensuring precise dimensions and consistent quality. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to improve ring seal and a skirt coating to reduce friction and noise.
