JE Pistons Honda B-Series Ultra Series Flat Top 84mm Bore Piston Kit (Set of 4)

This kit includes four JE Pistons Ultra Series flat-top pistons, designed specifically for Honda B-Series engines with an 84mm bore. These aren't your average pistons; they're built from the ground up to handle the extreme cylinder pressures found in high-boost, power-adder engine builds. If you're pushing your B-series hard, these pistons are engineered to keep up.

What sets these Ultra Series pistons apart is JE's proprietary Aligned Grain Flow forging technology. This process maximizes the material's tensile strength, making them incredibly strong and able to withstand serious abuse. You'll also find a thermal barrier crown coating that reflects heat back into the combustion chamber, helping to keep piston crown temperatures down. For reduced friction and wear on both the piston skirts and cylinder walls, a special skirt coating is applied, which also helps quiet things down, especially during a cold start. The lateral gas ports are designed to maintain a solid seal on the top compression ring, even at high RPMs and under heavy boost, ensuring consistent power delivery.

Included with the pistons are high-strength, thick-wall wrist pins manufactured by Trend Performance, built to handle the demands of performance engines. The pistons also feature optimized pin oiling to ensure the pin, pin bores, and connecting rod small-end stay well-lubricated, reducing heat, friction, and wear. Every feature on these pistons is optimized for high-horsepower racing engines, and they are proudly made 100% in the USA.
