JE Pistons HONDA B18C1 12.5 KIT Set of 4 Pistons

Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of a high-performance Honda B18C1 engine. This set of four pistons is designed specifically for this engine, aiming for an optimal balance of durability and performance. The 12.5:1 compression ratio is a notable step up from stock, intended to increase power output when paired with appropriate tuning and supporting modifications.

JE Pistons incorporates several design features to improve performance and longevity. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps reduce friction and weight by using a shorter wrist pin and reduced skirt width. Depending on the specific application, an accumulator groove can be included to manage combustion gas pressure, which helps reduce ring flutter and improve the seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.
