These pistons are designed to handle the demands of high-performance applications, featuring an 86.50mm bore and a 12.4cc dome volume, which helps achieve a 12.50:1 compression ratio. They are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for engines pushed to their limits.

JE Pistons has applied over 75 years of experience to create these pistons, incorporating features like their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This design minimizes friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring flutter and seal for consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
