Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications, offering the high tensile strength needed when you're pushing your Honda K24A2 engine hard. This kit is designed specifically for the K24A2 engine, aiming for optimized performance and durability. The 87mm bore and 10.0:1 compression ratio are key specifications that contribute to the engine's overall power output and responsiveness.

JE Pistons incorporates a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design, along with a shorter wrist pin, also saves additional weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, if included for this application, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.
