Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons LS ASYM DISH pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged pistons, specifically engineering them for each engine and racing application to offer a balance of durability and performance. This set is designed for 8-cylinder engines and features a 4.000-inch bore with a -16.40 cc dish volume.

JE Pistons utilizes a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.
