This set of eight LS ASYM DISH pistons is a prime example, engineered and forged right here in the USA for domestic applications. These pistons use a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This means they have a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which helps cut down on friction and power loss while also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, which helps manage combustion gas pressure to prevent ring flutter and keep your rings sealing consistently for reliable power. Plus, a skirt coating can further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which also helps quiet down engine noise.

Crafted from 2618 aluminum, these pistons have the high tensile strength needed for demanding performance builds. They are designed specifically for each engine and use case, ensuring optimized performance and durability. This set includes pistons for an 8-cylinder engine with a 4.070-inch bore, a 1.340-inch compression distance, and a 0.945-inch wrist pin.
