This is a set of 8 JE Pistons asymmetrical dish/inverted dome pistons, designed for a 4.080 inch bore. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for high-demand performance applications. JE Pistons has over 75 years of experience in creating forged racing pistons, and this set is engineered specifically for LS engines to offer a balance of durability and performance.

Each piston features a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring flutter and enhancing ring seal for consistent power delivery.
