Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. This set is specifically designed for LS engines, featuring an asymmetrical dish/inverted dome design to optimize combustion chamber volume and airflow for your build. JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table, engineering and machining these pistons entirely in the USA to ensure top-notch durability and performance.

The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design is a key feature here. It helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width, and the shorter wrist pin further saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for more consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, is used to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, leading to quieter operation and longer life.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.030-inch bore and a -17.70 cc dish volume. They are designed to work with a 0.927-inch wrist pin.
