JE Pistons LS ASYM DISH/INV DM Set of 8 Pistons

When you're building a high-performance LS engine, the pistons are a critical component. This set from JE Pistons includes eight asymmetric dish/inverted dome pistons, specifically crafted for demanding applications. They're forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for engines pushed to their limits.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to these components. Each piston features a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, designed to reduce combustion gas pressure, prevent ring flutter, and improve ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down operating noise.

This set is designed for a 4.065-inch bore and includes pistons with an inverted dome/dish profile, featuring a -19.20 cc volume. The wrist pin diameter is 0.927 inches, and the compression distance (CD) is 1.304 inches. It's important to note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
