JE Pistons LS ASYM DISH/INV DM Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons is known for making strong, reliable forged racing pistons, with over 75 years of experience. They've put that knowledge into this set of eight LS asymmetrical dish/inverted dome pistons, designed for high-demand performance applications. These pistons are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, using 2618 aluminum, which gives them the high tensile strength needed for serious engine builds.

This set features JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that works to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise.

These pistons are designed specifically for each engine and use application, aiming for optimized performance and durability. This set is for an 8-cylinder engine with a 4.070-inch bore, a 1.304-inch compression distance, and a 0.927-inch wrist pin.
