This set of eight asymmetric dish/inverted dome pistons from JE Pistons is forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it ideal for demanding performance applications. These pistons are engineered and manufactured entirely in the USA, drawing on JE Pistons' 75 years of experience in creating forged racing pistons.

JE Pistons incorporates several design features to optimize performance and durability. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This set is designed for an 8-cylinder engine with a 4.135-inch bore, a 1.304-inch compression distance, and a 0.927-inch wrist pin. They feature an inverted dome with a volume of -22.20cc. It's important to note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
