JE Pistons LS ASYM DISH/INV DM Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of 8 JE Pistons LS Asymmetrical Dish/Inverted Dome pistons. They are designed for a 4.000 inch bore and use a 0.927 inch wrist pin. Each piston has an inverted dome or dish shape, with a volume of 26.10 cc, which is important for setting your compression ratio. These pistons are made from 2618 aluminum, a well-known material for its high tensile strength, making it suitable for high-demand performance applications.

JE Pistons has been making forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and these are forged and machined 100% in the USA. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring flutter and seal for consistent power.
