JE Pistons LS ASYM DISH/INV DM Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons, specifically designed for LS engines with an asymmetrical dish/inverted dome design. You'll receive the pistons themselves, ready for installation into your build. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines pushed to their limits in demanding performance applications like racing.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to the table with these components. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, leading to less ring flutter and a more consistent ring seal for reliable power. Some applications also benefit from a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down engine noise.
