Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons LS ASYM DM 4000STRKR pistons are built for high-demand performance applications. They are designed specifically for the LS engine and its particular use, aiming for an optimal blend of durability and performance. This set includes eight pistons, each featuring a dome design and a 4.125-inch bore size, with a 0.927-inch pin diameter.

JE Pistons incorporates a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This feature helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
