These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it well-suited for demanding performance applications where reliability is key.

JE Pistons has applied over 75 years of experience to create these forged pistons. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can improve ring seal and maintain consistent power.
