If you're building a high-performance LS engine for serious racing, you need pistons that can handle the stress and deliver consistent power. This set of JE Pistons LS ASYM DM 4100STRKR pistons is forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making it ideal for demanding applications where durability and performance are critical.

JE Pistons has been a leader in forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and these are made entirely in the USA. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that reduces skirt width and uses a shorter wrist pin to cut down on friction and weight, which also helps minimize power loss. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to control combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for steady power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation and longer life.

This set is designed specifically for the LS engine and includes eight pistons with a 4.135-inch bore, a 1.065-inch compression distance, and a 0.927-inch pin. They have a -1.0 cc dome volume.
