This JE Pistons kit includes a complete set of 8 forged pistons, designed for LS engines with a 4.010-inch bore. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-demand performance applications where durability is critical. They feature a dome design with an 11.70 cc volume and are built to OEM specifications for a direct fit in your LS engine.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to their forged piston designs, and this set is no exception. They incorporate a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and using a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce pressure from combustion gases, leading to better ring seal and consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
