This set features a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove, which helps reduce pressure from combustion gases, leading to less ring flutter and a more consistent ring seal for steady power. Some applications also include a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down the engine's operating noise.

This kit is for an 8-cylinder engine, with a 4.000-inch bore, a 1.304-inch compression distance, and a 0.927-inch pin. Keep in mind that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
