JE Pistons LS ASYM FT 4.000STRK Set of 8 Pistons

Using a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, these JE Pistons for LS engines are built to minimize friction and power loss. This design uses a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also helps save weight. They are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for high-demand performance applications where durability is critical.

Each piston is designed specifically for the LS engine and its intended use, aiming for optimized performance and longevity. An accumulator groove, depending on the specific application, can help reduce combustion gas pressure, which in turn lessens ring flutter and improves ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that works to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a flat top design and a 4.005-inch bore. The kit comes with a 0.927-inch wrist pin and has a compression distance of 1.115 inches, with a dish volume of -5.00 cc. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
