JE Pistons LS ASYM FT 4.000STRK Set of 8 Pistons

Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built to handle the demands of high-performance LS engines. The 2618 alloy offers high tensile strength, crucial for applications where extreme cylinder pressures and temperatures are common. This set is designed specifically for your LS engine, ensuring optimized performance and durability whether you're on the track or building a serious street machine.

JE Pistons incorporates their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This feature reduces skirt width and uses a shorter wrist pin, which not only saves weight but also minimizes friction and power loss. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to help control combustion gas pressure, reducing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power delivery. A skirt coating, also application-dependent, further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.

This set includes eight flat-top pistons, each with a 4.130-inch bore and a -5.00 cc dish. The wrist pin diameter is 0.927 inches, and the compression distance is 1.115 inches.
