JE Pistons LS ASYM FT 4.000STRK Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons LS ASYM FT pistons, designed for high-performance LS engines. You get the pistons themselves, ready to be installed in your engine build. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines that see demanding use like racing or heavy towing.

JE Pistons has been making performance pistons for over 75 years, and they've applied that experience to this set. They feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, these pistons might also include an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and more consistent power. Some applications also come with a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.
