JE Pistons LS ASYM FT 4.100STRK Set of 8 Pistons

This is a set of eight JE Pistons LS ASYM FT 4.100STRK pistons. These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for high-demand performance applications like racing or heavily modified engines. They are designed specifically for LS engines to offer an optimized combination of performance and durability.

JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove. This groove is designed to reduce pressure from combustion gases, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
