JE Pistons LS ASYM FT Set of 8 Pistons

JE Pistons has been a leader in forged racing pistons for over 75 years, and they've applied that experience to their domestic engine components. This set of 8 LS ASYM FT pistons is engineered and manufactured entirely in the USA, using 2618 aluminum. This material provides the high tensile strength needed for demanding performance applications, whether you're building for the drag strip or the street.

These pistons feature JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, they may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for more consistent power. Some applications also feature a skirt coating that reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down operating noise. Each piston is designed specifically for the LS engine and its intended use, aiming for an optimal balance of performance and durability.

This particular set is for an 8-cylinder engine with a 4.065-inch bore. It includes pistons with a flat top design and a 1.304-inch compression distance, using a 0.927-inch wrist pin.
