JE Pistons LS7 DISH/INVDM 6077 Set of 8 Pistons

This JE Pistons kit includes a complete set of 8 forged pistons, designed specifically for the Chevrolet LS7 engine. These pistons feature an inverted dome/dish design and are built for a 4.125 inch bore, with a 1.163 inch compression distance and a 0.927 inch wrist pin. Crafted from 2618 aluminum, these pistons offer the high tensile strength necessary for demanding performance applications, ensuring durability when you push your engine hard.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to these forged pistons, with every step from engineering to machining done in the USA. They utilize a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width and saving weight with a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also include an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, preventing ring flutter and improving ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also feature a skirt coating designed to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, contributing to quieter operation.
