They apply this knowledge to a wide range of forged pistons for domestic engines, and this set is built specifically for LS7 applications. These pistons are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA, aiming for a balance of durability and performance that's proven on the track.

This set uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps cut down on friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight. They are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for engines under heavy demand. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and maintaining consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating designed to reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.

This kit includes eight pistons, each with a 4.128-inch bore and a flat-top design. They are designed specifically for the LS7 engine and its typical use cases, aiming for optimized performance and durability.
