Forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, these pistons have the high tensile strength needed for demanding applications. They feature JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and weight by using a shorter wrist pin and less skirt width. Depending on your specific application, you might also get an accumulator groove to help with ring seal and reduce flutter, and a skirt coating to cut down on friction, wear, and noise.
